Sunday Lunches: These are usually held on the 1st Sunday of each month, normally, but not exclusively, in a country inn somewhere in the Carlisle district. They are regarded by members as pleasant social occasions and have been enjoyed for several years. Our Organiser has to pre-book each venue well in advance and members wishing to attend must ‘phone the Organiser to reserve a place. As each venue can normally only deal with limited numbers, it is a case of first come, first served.Members attending should take note that all lunches are 12.30pm for 1.00pm - PROMPT Bookings must be made with the Organiser no later than the Wednesday of the preceding week. |
